Jumping on the DOTM bandwagon...

Not too sure if I'm really jumping on the DOTM trailer...I mean, bandwagon but I know a whole lotsa people who are...frankly, I'm not too impressed with the latest releases save maybe for the to-be-released Fireburst Optimus Prime (love the axe!), Ark (just for display) and the Takara Prime voyager version (it comes with the Prime trailer..woohoo...).

My 1st DOTM haul...usually, I'll skip this but since it comes with the trailer and me, being a sucker for trailers (haha!), wth...

Again, not to be mistaken with the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" starring Daniel Day-Lewis...

This is basically a continuation to "Farewell my Combiners" with more pics for memento sake. I gotta thank 3rd party companies such as Fansproject for the price surge in the market (inflated price) for sets such as TFU Superion and Bruticus; without their add-ons, all these would be worthless.

I may not have gotten the chance to play with them (alas, still in its MISB state at the point of selling) but I'm glad I had the luxury of owning them...ie. no play value but lotsa investment value!!

Black translucent with gold trimmings...a good combination. Another remolded version of the ROTF voyager Prime, KO of course but still...

Farewell my combiners...

Not to be confused with the movie "Farewell my concubines"...haha.. then again, with Optimus Prime as my main collection character (aka 1st wife), the other characters seem to be 2nd, 3rd wives aka concubines...haha..

Anyway, the combiners have been offloaded (finally) in an effort to rationalise SKUs (I mean, collection..). With my new direction in collecting only Primes, where possible; the other characters have increasingly becoming peripherals. Hope the new owner would have more fun with them than I ever did in years...how much fun could one have if the items were never removed from their packaging?

Universe Ultra Magnus

Finally SOLD!! No..no..not Magnus but it's 'twin' Treadshot from the twinpack...

Magnus shares the same Armada Prime mold, so had to own it but since it was never sold separately, had no choice but to purchase the whole TFU twinpack of Magnus + Treadshot (real lapsap item!!).

After Treadshot was sold (cheaply too...), I thought it would be nice to finally 'play' with Magnus and soon, would be reunited with his Prime brothers...the Band of Brothers, Fellowship of the Ring is finally completed...
