Finally, a haul albeit a tiny one...literally and physically...haha..

Apparently, this is an exclusive from Hobby Dengeki magazine. WST is not really my cup of tea but since I got it pretty cheap, well...just another addition to my existing Prime collection then :)

Anyway, with the Omega Sentinel, I completed 2 things :

1. reunites both the Omega brothers ie. Omega Sentinel and Omega Supreme
2. completes the Big Bots series

Fish heads COMPLETED!!!

No, it has nothing to do with fish head curry or assam fish head...wonder why the sudden hunger pangs? Hmm...

Armada Primes series aka Fish heads (check out the head and you'll understand what I meant) is finally completed with my last conquest of the TRU Magna Convoy set!

Finally, got my Sam's Club yellow Optimus Prime! aka yellow fire brigade :)

Item is loose, complete but wth, still a rare item...

With this, my God Fire Convoy collection is near completion, only missing the TRU Omega Prime and Cybertron Giftset... the latter is available on Ebay but not so keen to own as the differentiation vs the normal God Fire Convoy is not significant enough... God Magnus is similar to the Sam's Club version ie. the darker legs which I already have...Fire Convoy has a dark (black colored) chest piece which is the only difference...

Hmmm....the former at RM1.8-2k on Ebay...should I get that or BIB Brave Max??? Tough choice huh?

KO prime?

If you define anything that is non-Takara or Hasbro as KO, then this piece from Masterminds Creation is definitely high-end KO.

This is the brand new Knight Morpher Commander KM-01. This "Optimus Prime" transforms into a train instead of a truck (refer 2nd pic).

From left : Machine Wars Optimus Prime (MISB), Action Masters Optimus Prime (loose)

Machine Wars Optimus Prime (US version) has the same mold as its European counterpart (Thunderclash). Only the colors differ and the latter was supposingly the original mold to be produced.

I've been hunting for the Action Masters OP since I first laid eyes on it on Ebay :p but a MISB-condition costs a bomb, hence had to settle for a loose, complete one instead (for only a fraction of a MISB one, of course)...

Now, hunting for Thunderclash...heheh...

God Fire Convoy...

God Fire Convoy (aka Omega Prime) is a combination of 2 figures ie. God Magnus (aka Ultra Magnus) and Fire Convoy (aka Optimus Prime). Apparently, there are 6 versions of the God Fire Convoy :

1. Hasbro version Ultra Magnus + Optimus Prime (sold separately)

2. Takara version God Magnus + Fire Convoy (sold separately)

3. Sonokong version God Magnus + Fire Convoy (sold separately)

4. Sam's Club Ultra Magnus (darker blue) + Optimus Prime (yellow in color) (sold separately)

Hasbro Costco Exclusive Optimus Prime + Overload bought! Awaiting shipping from US... now to find Jetfire to complete the whole set... another headache, seller has yet to dispatch my item...now filing a complaint thru Ebay...just filed claim with Paypal 10/1/10... yeaa...good news!! Seller has shipped it via EMS...
Sonokong Armada Overload bought! Shipping from HK...cheap, after conversion >RM130...Takara version will cost slightly more than double. Cheapest found so far RM280 MIB... item received in good condition 9/1/10...yeaaa....my Powerlinx Magna Jet Convoy completed!!

1. TRU Magna Convoy...found the source but the problem is how to conclude the transaction via COD...hmmm.... gosh...item SOLD!

2. Lucky Draw Armada Optimus Prime...this would definitely be the ultimate collection but at RM5450.00, I would seriously need to think about owning it...not to mention, where the heck am I going to find that amount of money??? Just imagine the amount of chap fan I could be eating in months (maybe years...lol)...

Adding in Hasbro Armada Optimus Prime* and Takara Armada Jetfire later today...yea yea...that should be wishlist no. 6 (Ooopsss...wasn't in the list earlier)

* note : the only difference between the Hasbro and Takara version is the color of the shoulder area and the so-called fish ears which is gold and yellow respectively...

My Top 3 hauls of 2009...

Last year was the "re-birth" of my TF haulings after a hiatus of 2 years...it was also timely in view of the re-kindled interest due to screening of the 2nd TF movie...

One could noticed the frenzy transactions in the market which has also resulted in rocket-high prices of selected items and sadly to say, I too jumped on the bandwagon...

It was another year of heavy investments...hopefully, it had been a fruitful one...I believe I had forked out few grands here and there (not to mention, the Japanese anime haulings as well...).

Hence, I thot it would be nice to recap some of my haulings here, mainly focusing on what I believe would have been my Top 3 of last year...

So, enjoy...in no particular order / sequence...

No. 1 - Ginrai collection (Godginrai, Fire Guts and Nucleon Quest)

No. 2 - Primes MP collection (MP01, MP01b, MP04)

No. 3 - Fire Convoys collection (Hasbro RID Optimus Prime, Takara RID Fire Convoy)

One haul which is still in the making / work in progress if I may say...would be the Magna Jet Convoy collection, consisting of :

1. Takara Armada Optimus Prime + Jetfire + Overload (completed)
2. Hasbro Armada Powerlinx Jetfire + Ultra Magnus (missing Optimus Prime)
3. Hasbro K-Mart Exclusive Optimus Prime + Jetfire (missing Overload)
4. Hasbro Costco Optimus Prime + Jetfire + Overload (all missing, found a source for them though but cost is rather high on this set...hmm...)
5. Takara TRU Magna Convoy (still looking for one...again, this set costs a bomb too...sigh...if only money grows on trees...haha)

Looks like those missing ones would be my targets for 2010...together with many others...haha...
